Fed: look beyond sugar to other cane products - Entsch

North Queensland Liberal MP WARREN ENTSCH says Australia's sugar farmers have to look
beyond sugar to opportunities from cane production.

He says they must also be assisted by legislative change.

Mr ENTSCH says he doesn't have any concerns about retaining his seat of Leichhardt
in this year's federal election following sugar's exclusion from the free trade agreement
with the United States.
