Embrace is a new shrink film copolyester from Eastman which allows attractive graphics to be printed. Eastman says that the shrink film industry is recognising the importance of packaging as an advertising vehicle and that Embrace can be used for labels, wine caps, tamper evident seals and overwraps.
The material has a combination of properties including low haze, high clarity, gloss and sparkle and can be decorated and embossed. Shrink labels made in Embrace fit tightly to highly contoured and unusually shaped containers and have potential for greater than 70 per cent shrink. The …
